Derek Romrell is a writer/producer based out of Salt Lake City and raised in the heart of rural Idaho.
A rising storyteller, The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (Northwest Chapter) recognized him as Best Writer in their College Category – three years in a row. His latest short film To Err has won several awards, including Best Original Short Screenplay, Best Utah Film, and Best Director.
Derek enjoys creating narratives revolving around humor, longing, and nostalgia.
